Krusty Burger Modular
"HEY HEY!"
You will receive high quality, easy to follow PDF instructions for this build. The official Krusty Burger set, baseplate, and sidewalk tiles need to be acquired separately.
This modification of the official Krusty Burger set transforms the original design into a fully compatible modular corner building. While the original set is full of fun references, I found that it suffered from awkward angles and underwhelming views from most perspectives. This redesign refines the set by repositioning the drive-thru window and order booth to the same side, while showcasing the long bay of windows on the opposing wall.
The build stays true to the spirit of the original, using over 90% of the parts from the official set excluding Bag #1, so Homer’s car can still be built separately with no modifications. Aside from a 32x32 baseplate and sidewalk tile pieces (easily sourced from LEGO.com or Bricklink), everything else comes straight from the original set.
The interior remains largely intact, though some elements have been logically rearranged to match the new exterior orientation. The result is a more display-friendly Krusty Burger that feels right at home among LEGO’s modular buildings.
