You will receive the step-by-step PDF instructions and XML parts list files in an email. The XML file's contents can be uploaded to a Bricklink.com Wanted List to make it easier to find the pieces you'll need.

I create this design primarily for myself and my own Easter egg packed LEGO city, Brick Valley, which you can see over on my Instagram (@BenBuildsLEGO); consequently, I paid less attention compared to my other LEGO instructions when it comes to overall costs. The bulk of the inflated cost can be attributed primarily to the unique swords (currently only available in the Rivendell set) and the dark bluish grey minifigures. However, I encourage you to feel free to experiment with incorporating other nerdy pop culture licenses - like Star Wars - since much of the "Lord of the Rings" iconography can be readily swapped out to suit your tastes!
